E3 2004 - Wednesday, May 12th: Day 1
David Lawrence: It's Langteau? And Spark Unlimited is your company?
Langteau: That's correct.David Lawrence: We've had a number of times talking about Call of Duty today. Your thoughts?
Langteau: On the license in general, or how is Finest Hour going?David Lawrence: Just Finest Hour.
Langteau: I couldn't be more thrilled.David Lawrence: You still don't have a date?
Langteau: We are shipping this fall. As far as a date goes, it's still up in the air.David Lawrence: We've asked a couple of people what that boils down to. Some people say marketing, some people say it's just simply not done and we're not going to announce it till it is. It's not like there's a summer season or a holiday season, although there are holiday sales. Is that becoming less and less of a factor? Or is it around when they release hardware?
Langteau: I don't know. I mean, some people argue that if you have a hit title -- if you're in the top tier of titles pretty much they can ship around anywhere. And, if it's a solid game, a really kick-butt experience, and it's got enough push behind it and enough quality, then it will do well whenever you ship. Obviously, shipping for the holiday seasons is very important -- just because.

David Lawrence: For sales?
Langteau: Yeah.David Lawrence: You're dressed in army fatigues, like you're ready to go on a weekend outing.
Langteau: Well, we don't have any military retreats scheduled this weekend with our advisor.David Lawrence: How many different advisors do you work with?
Langteau: We have a couple right now.David Lawrence: And in what branch of the service?
Langteau: Hank kersey and John Hillen. They're Marines.
