Microsoft Game Studios announced recently that they will be releasing a multiplayer map expansion pack for Halo 2

Slated for a release June 28, the expansion will be available in stores as well as through a download through Xbox Live.

In addition to the new maps, the retail bundle will feature two videos consisting of an animated sort from the single-player story in New Mombasa as well as a documentary that contains interviews with map designers, strategies and overviews of the new maps.

For those who subscribe to Xbox Live, an early look at the four maps from the expansion will be available in late April. Two maps will be available at no charge, while the other two will be $5.99. The last five maps will be available on June 28 at $11.99.
