At Konami's BBQ event the other day, the company showed off a bunch of upcoming Bemani titles, covering the latest entries in the Dance Dance Revolution and Karaoke Revolution series. The biggest news to come out of the event was the release of track lists for the PS2 and Xbox DDR games, but it was also cool to finally see Karaoke Revolution Presents American Idol in action. Check out GameSpy's earlier Bemani roundup from E3 for the basics on all of these games; today I'm mostly going to cover what's new.
Dancin'...
First up is Dance Dance Revolution SuperNOVA, which is the most recent DDR title to hit American arcades. The PS2 version will feature some of the arcade content as well as online features, EyeToy support, arcade/PS2 data sharing and several new gameplay modes.
